The Funding Information Service is a not-for-profit organisation collecting and distributing information about funding by way of three separate searchable computer databases, FundView, BreakOut and CorporateCitizens.
FundView
FundView is New Zealand's primary source of information about funding for voluntary organisations and contains over 600 different funding schemes. It includes funding from the government, local authorities, statutory and philanthropic trusts, gaming trusts and some service organisations.

Health Promotion Forum of New Zealand (HPF)
The Health Promotion Forum offers a limited number of scholarships for the Certificate of Achievement in Introducing Health Promotion Course (Short Course) in Auckland and Whakatane on May 24-27 & June 21-24, 2011. Ko Awatea Health Scholarships
Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB) in partnership with South Auckland Health Foundation have been helping people in our community to study health through awarding health scholarships. You may be someone who is currently studying or someone who is working and looking for a career change. Our scholarship recipients have come from a variety of backgrounds.
The scholarship is open to New Zealand citizens or permanent residents who live in the Counties Manukau district (including Papakura and Franklin), $5,000.00 is available for tuition fees only.

Lottery Grants
The Lottery Health Research committee funds research projects that will improve the health status of New Zealanders. It distributes grants to fund:
research into the cause, prevention and treatment of disorders affecting the health of New Zealanders
research that will lead to advances in health and bio-medical science for the ultimate benefit of all New Zealanders the development, maintenance and retention of a highly skilled workforce of health and bio-medical researchers in New Zealand.

Maori Education Trust (MET)
The MET is financed from private bequests and trusts set up from individuals or businesses. A primary function of the Trust is to provide and administer scholarships in education for Māori students. South Auckland Health Foundation Scholarships
The health scholarship programme is a partnership between the South Auckland Health Foundation and Counties Manukau DHB to support local students wanting to study health. The scholarships are for one year and are up to $5000 for tuition fees only. A number of scholarships are awarded each year and the key criteria for these scholarships relate to academic achievement, community involvement and financial hardship. Maori and Pacific studentsre strongly encouraged to apply as we would like our workforce to better reflect the community we serve. Applications close around October each year.

Te Tapuae O Rehua
Each year Te Tapuae assists Māori tertiary students to achieve educational success by managing a number of scholarships and grants. The majority of 2011 Scholarships for tertiary students will be open early next year.
Ngāi Tahu Kā Pūtea Scholarships and Grants
There are a total of 40 Ngāi Tahu Kā Pūtea Scholarships valued at $1500 each available to registered Ngāi Tahu tertiary students. The three scholarship categories are General Scholarships, Targeted Scholarships and Papatipū Rūnanga Scholarships. The 2010 Ngāi Tahu Kā Pūtea Scholarships will be open from 01 March - April 30th.
The Ngāi Tahu Kā Pūtea Grants available to registered Ngāi Tahu tertiary students are administered by Te Tapuae.
For fulltime first year tertiary students these grants are valued at $250. For fulltime second and subsequent year students these grants are valued at $500. The 2010 Ngāi Tahu Kā Pūtea Grants will be open from 01 March until 10 December.
