Xavier Horan is a relative newcomer to New Zealand screens. After attending Papatoetoe High School between 1995-98, Xavier decided to give acting a try. In spite of having very little acting experience before his audition alongside Taungaroa Emile for the show "The Market", the producers loved his work and he was cast in the core cast role of Mike. Playing the role of Mike was an opportunity for Xavier to represent the world he knows, being part Pacific Islander and part European. He has since gone on to star in the critically acclaimed movie "No. 2", and won a new role of Kurt in the NZ's TV show "Ride With the Devil". He has also appeared in the video footage of one of Hollie Smith's songs in 2007.
Update: He is currently (March 2009) Tai Scott on Shortland Street.
